Arman Andreasyan Won the Title of World Wrestling Military Champion
The representative of the RA Armed Forces won the title of champion at the World Wrestling Military Championship taking place in Tehran. Arman Andreasyan defeated all his rivals in the 70 kg freestyle wrestling competition and won a gold medal.
Athletes-servicemen Mher Markosyan (86 kg) and Hrayr Alikhanyan (79 kg) won the titles of vice-champion of the world and won silver medals. Harutyun Manukyan (61 kg), Hovhannes Mkhitaryan (92 kg) and Lyova Gevorgyan (125 kg) won bronze medals.
The freestyle wrestlers of the Armenian delegation, winning 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals, took the 3rd place in the team event (1st place - Russian Federation, 2nd place - Islamic Republic of Iran).
