Azerbaijan Again Halts Search Operations for Casualties of the 2020 Artsakh War
"Over the past several days no search operations for the 2020 Artsakh war casualties have been carried out, the Press Secretary at the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh’s Interior Ministry Hunan Tadevosyan told Panorama.am.
In the words of Tadevosyan, the Azerbaijani side didn't allow Artsakh rescuers to enter the territories under its control without any justifications.
Tadevosyan informed that after negotiations, the rescue and operations were resumed only on Saturday in Mataghis direction and the results of the rescue efforts would be communicated further.
To note, since the end of hostilities last year, a total of 1,702 bodies have been found and recovered from the Azerbaijani-occupied territories of Artsakh.
