Armenian Weightlifters to Head to Tashkent for World Championships
Armenian weightlifters will leave for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to compete at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships on Tuesday, Panorama.am reports, referring to the Armenian National Olympic Committee.
The following athletes will represent Armenia at the World Championships: Rafik Harutyunyan (81 kg), Andranik Karapetyan (89 kg), Hakob Mkrtchyan (96 kg), Davit Hovhannisyan (96 kg), Samvel Gasparyan (102 kg), Arsen Martirosyan (102 kg), Simon Martirosyan (109 kg), Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg) and Gor Minasyan (+109 kg).
The World Weightlifting Championships are scheduled to be held from 7 to 17 December.
