Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara wants to organize a face-to-face meeting between Russian and Ukrainian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, RIA Novosti reports.
"We are disappointed by the war environment and the psychological situation, because we are a country with good relations on both sides. We hope to arrange a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, a face-to-face meeting," Erdogan said.
The Turkish leader noted that he would continue contacts with Putin to ensure peace and stability in the region.
