On June 27, at 07:49 local time (at 03:49 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 41.16⁰ and eastern longitude 43.95⁰ geographic coordinates (Georgia-Armenia border zone, 13 km northeast from the village of Bavra), with 3.7 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 5 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Tavshut, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, Musayelyan in Shirak Province, in the villages of Paghaghbyur, Metsavan and Dzoramut in Lori Province with 4 points intensity, as well as in the towns of Tashir and Vanadzor with 3 points intensity.
