On August 3, at 13:11 local time (at 09:11 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 41.18⁰ and eastern longitude 43.94⁰ geographic coordinates (Georgia-Armenia border zone, 13 km northeast from the village of Bavra), with 2.6 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 3-4 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra and Saragyugh in Shirak Province with 2-3 points intensity.
