A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit the island of Evia in central Greece in the early hours of Tuesday. According to Greek Reporter, the tremor was felt in Athens, but no damages have been reported.
According to the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) the earthquake hit at 6:32 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their reports.
