Armenian, Lithuanian Prosecutors General to sign memorandum of cooperation



Prosecutor General of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan had an online meeting with Prosecutor General of Lithuania Nida Grunskienė, discussing the prospects of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia said in a news release, Armenpress reports.

The Prosecutors General of Armenia and Lithuania have also discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest, aimed at strengthening the integrity of prosecutors, implementing joint training projects and organizing exchange of experience in a number of directions.

They agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the future aimed at increasing the efficiency of prosecutor control over cases of corruption crimes, initiating electronic criminal proceedings, etc.

The Prosecutor General of Lithuania expressed readiness to deepen the partnership with the Office of Prosecutor General of Armenia and invited the delegation of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia to Lithuania to get acquainted with the Lithuanian system.
