The young dancers of Asparez dance studio of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have finally arrived in the capital, Stepanakert, after more than 1.5 months of separation from their loved ones.
In Artsakh, a group of parents and relatives of these young dancers welcomed them—arriving from Armenia’s capital Yerevan—at the We are Our Mountains monument in Stepanakert.
Gayane Hakobyan arrived in Stepanakert from Berdashen village of Martuni region to see her daughter, and Silva Hovhannisyan had promised her grandchild to personally come and welcome the kid.
"True, the kids were well looked after in every way in Armenia, but longing ‘kills’ a person. No matter how hard you try to have a good day, your mind is with your child. True, we were talking with them every day, but it’s not the same. Now we are extremely happy that finally our children will reach home," said Hakobyan.
The aforesaid dance studio’s kids who had stayed in Artsakh came with balloons to meet their friends, News.am reports.
