Because of the Shootings from the Azerbaijani Side the OSCE Monitoring was Stopped

According to the agreement with the authorities of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the OSCE mission on January 14 has conducted a monitoring in the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. The monitoring was conducted in the direction of Hadrut, near the village of Horadiz, reports Armenpress.

As news.am informs, from the positions of the NKR Defense Army in the monitoring has participated the Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria) and Irji Aberle (the Czech Republic). From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring was conducted by the Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine); the Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Simon Tiller (Great Britain); and by the staff member of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden).

The Karabakh side has taken the OSCE mission into its front line, but because of the shootings from the Azerbaijani side the Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office because of security reasons had stopped the monitoring. 

From the Karabakh side, the OSCE monitoring mission was accompanied by the representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
