In the Coming Weeks a Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan May Take Place

The co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick has announced that the date of their next visit to the region is not clear yet, reports APA.az. 

"Throughout the year we have witnessed a lot that any violence in the contact line destabilizes the situation and can become a reason for dangerous escalation between the two sides", - said Warlick.

According to him the military action can destroy their efforts for the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "For listening to the views of the sides we periodically visit to the region, but the date of our next visit is not clear yet. It is possible that in the coming weeks a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place. We hope that the ministers will meet and will be able to discuss ways for moving forward. We also hope that the presidents will uphold their commitments they made on October 2014 and will continue the dialogue", - said Warlick. He has also mentioned that a negotiated settlement will be possible in the case of the existence of the political will to work together.
