Protests near the Russian Embassy in Armenia

A group of protesters is in front of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, another – a smaller group, is beside the Embassy, whom the police try to force to join the group in front of the Embassy. The citizens who have gathered demand Valerie Permyakov to be given to the Armenian law enforcement bodies and to serve his sentence according to the RA Criminal Code.

There are clashes between the police and the citizens. The latter shout "we are the owners of our country". There are posters in their hands: "Offenders should be held responsible", "Law is above imperial ambitions", etc, reports Civilnet.

A group of citizens even tried to burn the Russian flag, but due to the pressure of the other part of the citizens and the police, it was not burnt and simply fall. There are Russian flags in the hands of some citizens.  Some of them put the flag on the floor and stand on them.
