Russia to be Deprived of its Rights in PACE

A new resolution has been prepared by Parliamentarians from the Netherlands which presupposes depriving the Russian delegation of its rights in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, reports Tass.

Some of the rights of the Russian delegation were lost in April 2014, because Russia had refused to abandon Crimea and not to interfere in the developments in Ukraine.

During the next PACE session that will take place on January 26-30 according to the assembly regulations rights of all delegations that were under sanctions will be automatically restored. It is expected that the new resolution prepared by the Netherlands will be discussed just at that time.
