The spokesperson of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Michael Bociurkiw announced that about 5 thousand people died as the result of the armed conflict in Ukraine, which is an average of around 16 deaths per day, reports gazeta.ru.
As International Business Times informs, about 30 percent of them were killed as a result of a shaky ceasefire in September. "Meanwhile, more than ten thousand have been wounded, one million local residents have fled their homes, and around five million were affected by the situation in the region in some way,"- said Bociurkiw, reports Redpilltimes.
