Turkish Community Happy for the Results of the Elections in Greece

In the result of the early Parliamentary elections in Greece three Greek deputies of Turkish descent were elected, which as Today’s Zaman writes, increased the hopes of the Turkish minority to at last deal with their problems.

One of the elected deputies, Mustafa Mustafa told Today’s Zaman that the Turkish community has supported his party because they are for social justice and democracy. According to his this step showed that the Turkish community wants a change in Greek policies towards minorities. According to another elected deputy, Ayhan Karayusuf, Turkish minorities expect changes in the education system as well.
