In the winter session of PACE the Monitoring Committee supported the restoration of the voting rights of the Russian delegation to PACE, as Interfax reports, the chairman of the Russian State Duma's Foreign Affairs Committee, Alexei Pushkov, told reporters. According to Pushkov this is a step forward, because if a delegation is deprived of the right to vote, then there is no reason to attend the sessions.
