Turkish Security Forces Do Not Let People Cross Kobane

After the announcement of the Kurdish forces that the terrorists of the "Islamic State" have been driven out of the Syrian town Kobane, a group of people from the Turkish border town of Suruç attempted to cross into Kobane. As Hurriyet reports, the urkish security forces had to fire tear gas on the crowd not to let them cross the border.

Meanwhile, as Hurriyet informs, 10 lawmakers from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) have gone to Kobane since the announcement of the town's liberation.

The fighting in Kobane lasted about four months and as a result 1,800 people were killed.
