A French Senator Suggests Forming a Ukrainian Federation
A French Senator Jean-Marie Bockel announced that one can reach a sustainable peace in Ukraine only in the case the country becomes a federation with two official languages, reports РиаНовости. The Senator made this suggestion taking into consideration the differences in culture, language, dominant directions of economic activities and geopolitical orientation of Ukraine.
According to Jean-Marie Bockel in the situation of the civil war between the pro-European West and the pro-Russian East there cannot be a long lasting solution of the conflict based on one-sided approach.
