Senators Call Obama to Increase Military Assistance to Ukraine

15 American Senators from both parties called the President Barack Obama and NATO to increase their military assistance to Ukraine and include in it lethal weapons, reports Голос Америки. According to them it is important, because the only way to stop Russia is to put "convincing resistance" in front of him.

"Russia’s neglect of the established international norms is a direct threat to the security of the European system, which exists for several decades. One cannot let Russia succeed," – is written in the letter of the Senators directed to the president.
