President Barack Obama will send a resolution to Congress to ask for new authority to use military force against Islamic State fighters next week, "Reuters" reports.
Senator Bob Corker told Reuters the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee expected Obama to send text of an authorization as soon as next week.
On Thursday, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner stated that Obama’s seeking congressional authorization for using military force against Islamic State was predictable in addition he called for more active assistance to Jordan.
