A competition of cartoons on Holocaust was announced in Iran, informs Lenta.ru. The contest is organized by House of Cartoons and the Sarcheshmeh Cultural Complex. This competition is a response to Charle Hebdo publications of Prophet Mohammad’s cartoons.
The results of the competition will be summed up on April 12. The winner will receive a prize of $12,000. For the first and the second places $8,000 and $5,000 respectively will be given.
This kind of competition in Iran is being held for the second time. The first took place in 2006 as a response to Jyllands-Posten publications of Prophet Mohammad’s cartoons.
