The film "Fifty Shades of Grey" has been banned in Kenya, BBC.co.uk reports. The Commission of Film Classification has not given any explanation for the ban, but it is assumed that the ban is because of the fact that the society of Kenya is very conservative. The film is banned in Malaysia and Indonesia as well.
Quite a different picture is in France. Here even the children at the age of 12 can watch the drama. As Telegraph.co.uk informs, this is because country’s film board did not give the film an adult certificate. “It is not a movie that can shock a lot of people,” - France’s classification president said.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is a 2015 American film directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. It is based on E. L. James' bestselling novel.
