Georgia gives a great importance to the maximum expansion of the cooperation with Armenia based on the century-long friendship of the two people, the Georgian parliament speaker, Davit Usupashvili said in his meeting with the Foreign Minister of Armenia Eduard Nalbandyan. As the official website of the RA MFA informs, welcoming the guest, the RA Minister emphasized the positive dynamic of the friendly Armenian-Georgian relations, stressing that active inter-parliamentary contacts play an important role in the strengthening of strong inter-state ties. He also expressed confidence that this visit to Armenia will give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation.
The sides mentioned with satisfaction that Armenian-Georgian relations are on a high level, and frequent mutual visits are supportive to it.
Touching upon trade and economic relations, Davit Usupashvili and Edward Nalbandian placed significance to the scheduled 10th session of inter-governmental committee.
