Smoking, growing and possessing marijuana becomes legal in Alaska, making it the third state of the USA with legal marijuana.
Alaskans voted 53-47 percent in November to legalize marijuana use by adults in non-public places, but that doesn't mean marijuana businesses or even a legal weed market will be operating without problems. Although the law allows Alaskans to smoke, grow and possess limited amounts of marijuana, buying and selling it will remain prohibited until lawmakers work out how to tax and regulate the industry, International Business Times reports.
