The Armenian National Committee of America welcomed the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) company's decision, according to which the company terminated a contract worth over $845,000 with Gephardt Government company, which was a registered foreign agent in Turkey and was used as a tool for denying the Armenian Genocide, Asbarez reports.

On January 29, the coalition of Armenian-American organizations(Armenian National Committee of America, Armenian Assembly of America and America's eastern and western Armenian Youth Federation) sent a letter to more than 200 businesses, universities and NGOs, which worked with former congressmen Dick Gephardi and Rep. Dennis Hastert's 5 companies calling them to stop advancing the Turkish Government’s Armenian Genocide denial, and to put an end to their relationship with these companies.
