Turkey's military says two of its RF-4E reconnaissance planes have crashed in central Turkey, killing all four pilots on board, reports www.newsday.com.

The military says the aircraft disappeared off the radar Tuesday evening about an hour after taking off from the Malatya military air base. The wreckages were discovered in the town of Akcadag, in Malatya province.

The military said the two planes had taken off for a planned night training exercise.
