The Apple Inc has been dropped from Chinese purchase list, Reuters reports. China has started a process of dropping leading technology brands from its purchase list and replacing them with local brands.
Among many brands dropped in China, are Intel Corp's security software firm McAfee and network and server software firm Citrix Systems. In line with different explanations why China has started this process the most circulated one is that domestic security technology firms offer more product guarantees than the foreign ones.
