US Secretary of State John Kerry declared that in the case the developments in eastern Ukraine "worry" them, new anti-Russian sanctions will be applied, Reuters reports.
Kerry said that the additional sanctions are ready and currently the American authorities are observing the process of the implementation of "Minsk 2" agreements. John Kerry did not detail, when the sanctions had been prepared and what are the limitations they imply.
European Council President Donald Tusk stated that in the connection with the situation in Ukraine, the organization continues to discuss the issue of new sanctions against Russia.
"Additional sanctions are on the table. We should be ready for any developments, positive or negative," Tusk said at a meeting with the deputies of European Parliament.
