Several figures have been prevented to attend Boris Nemotsov's, Russian opposition politician's funeral. As BBC reports among them are Bogdan Borusewicz, a Polish senate speaker who was not given a visa as he was in the list of those politicians whose entry was banned after EU put sanctions on Russia. Latvian MEP Sandra Kalniete, who arrived in Moscow, was not allowed to go out from the airport, as she told BBC, without proper explanation. Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, also cannot attend Nemtsov's funeral, as he was not allowed out of his custody.
The funeral of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov will be held today, on March 3 at a cemetery in southwest Moscow, euronews reports.
