The US authorities promise a fair judicial process for the former CIA agent Edward Snowden if he really decides to return America, the State Department Press Office informs. "We would be happy if he returns and stand before the court," – is said in the statement.
On March 3 Snowden’s lawyer Anatoly Kucherene announced that Snowden wants to return America if his trial would be fair. The lawyer mentioned that the General Prosecutor’s Office has already assured them that death penalty will not apply to Snowden.
