On March 4 a missile severely damaged the St. Rita Armenian Church in the Armenian-populated city of Syria. As Hayern Aysor report, there are no victims. The church was bombed by the Islamic State. According to the editor-in-chief of Aleppo’s Gandzasar Weekly Zarmig Boghigian, this is being done intentionally, as there are no clashes in those areas.
The last explosion in an Armenian district in Aleppo was on December 30, 2014.
