Two Men arrested on Nemtsov’s Murder are from Caucasus

The head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov,  reported that two men had been detained over the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, BBC reports

Speaking on national television Bortnikov  announced the names of Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev , who were detained on Saturday. Bortnikov also told Russian news agencies that the suspects were both from the Caucasus region.  Bortnikov gave no additional details on  detained persons, only noting that the investigation was continuing.

Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on the night of 27 February as he was walking in the center of the Moscow.
