Iraq calls the US-led coalition to use more air strikes against the Islamic State militants and stop them destroying Iraqi archaeological treasures, euronews reports.
According to Adel Hirshab, Iraqi Tourism and Antiquities Minister, it is the slow actions of the US-led coalition that has "encouraged the Islamic State militants to attack, destroy and pillage."
The last heritage destroyed by the militants of IS is the ancient site of Khorsabad in northern Iraq.
