This week in Europe

Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.

European Parliament plenary session will take place in Strasbourg on March 9-12. The progress of European integration in Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro will be discussed. Also the parliamentarians will raise a question of suspending certain concessions relating to the import  of agricultural products of Turkey into the Union. Overview of the ENP modernization is also on the agenda.

On March 9 EU Energy Union vice-president Maroš Šefčovič will receive Mr Natig Aliyev, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan.
