The monthly Peace Index poll sponsored by The Israel Democracy Institute and Tel Aviv University published the results of a survey trying to find out how the elections will determine the pace of the peace process with the Palestinian Authority, Jerusalem Post reports.

According to the survey, 64% of Israeli Jews and 35% of Israeli Arabs think that if Zionist Movement leaders form the government then Palestine will not do any concessions on the negotiating table.

At the same time, 64% of the whole people surveyed were sure that the peace process with the Palestinians will not advance, irrespective of which party will form the government, because there is no solution to the dispute.
