Defense Minister of Turkey İsmet Yılmaz declared that training program to the Iraqi army and local Sunni forces in Mosul will be extended, Hurriyet reports. The Iraqi Army will be given train-equip, intelligence and logistics support. As the Defense Minister informed, they are waiting for the decision of the Iraqi officials to determine the location of the training.
Yılmaz also said Turkey and the U.S. will jointly decide the timing of the train-equip program for the Syrian opposition.
