Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland Charles Aznavour participated in a discussion on "Mets Yeghern" dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide that took place on March 11. The discussion was held with parliamentarians of the Federal Assembly of Switzerland, Aysor reports.
During the discussion, Swiss parliamentarians raised numerous issues, including those of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, situation in the Middle East, particularly, Turkey’s role in the context of Syrian and Iraqi crisis, efforts of the international community towards prevention of crimes against humanity, installation of "Street lights of Memory" memorial in Geneva.
