Turkey's Foreign Ministry responded to the Bulgarian Parliament’s decision on the Armenian Genocide where the expression "mass slaughter" was used. The Turkish Foreign Ministry "strongly condemned" this statement of the Bulgarian Parliament as it showed “not so friendly” attitude towards Turkey, which would have a negative impact on their bilateral relations.
