Greece has told the International Monetary Fund (IMF) it will delay its deadline for debt payment that is on Friday and pay all its payments at the end of the month, BBC reports.
"The Greek authorities have informed the fund today that they plan to bundle the country's four June payments into one, which is now due on June 30," IMF spokesperson Gerry Rice said.
As CNN writes, the country's five-year debt crisis deepened early this year when a new anti-austerity government insisted on renegotiating the terms of the biggest international bailout in history.
