In the coming next hours the Greek Finance Minister will decide how to pay pensions to the retirees, Sputnik News reports referring to RIA Novosti.
"The ministry will determine how pensions will be paid by 4:00 p.m.," the source said.
On Tuesday the Greek aid package expires, which means that Athens should pay $1.7 billion to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). If the sides fail to reach a deal, Greece may default on its debt and be forced to exit the eurozone.
