De facto Deputy Foreign Minister of the Hamas administration in Gaza, Razi Hamed in a talk with Israel Radio declared that Hamas does not want to engage Israel in fighting, instead they want quiet in the Gaza Strip, The Jerusalem Post reports.
He denied reports that his organization is engaged in either direct or indirect negotiations with Israel over a long-term ceasefire in Gaza. As for the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Hamed said it remains unchanged following Operation Protective Edge.
