Today, the UN Security Council will consider a draft resolution on the establishment of an international tribunal to investigate the crash of Boeing near Donetsk, Vesti.ru reports. The author of the project is Malaysia.
Representatives of Ukraine, Australia and Belgium were among those, who spoke for the creation of an international tribunal under UN Security Council.
Russian diplomats have repeatedly stated that they will not let this project pass. The Foreign Ministry called the idea of an international tribunal "premature and illogical" and demanded to wait for the results of the investigation. Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that Russia will definitely vote "against", and if necessary can use the right of veto.
