Nigerian Army freed 178 hostages of the terrorist group "Boko Haram," gazeta.ru reports referring to the Channel News Asia.
Among the freed hostages more than 100 were children and 67 women. This became possible as a result of the offensive of the Nigerian Army, carried out in the north-east of Nigeria to the south of the city of Maiduguri.
"Besides, one of the commanders "Boko Haram" was captured, and now an investigation is being carried out," the representative of the Nigerian Army said.
