The French President Francois Hollande has promised to stand up for the abolition of the anti-Russian sanctions if the peace process in Ukraine continues, Lenta.ru reports with reference to Reuters.
"In the recent weeks, there has been progress in the peace process. The sides almost completely respect the ceasefire," he said.
The President also noted that he wants to organize a meeting of leaders of Normandy Four in Paris before the 70th UN General Assembly, which opens in New York on September 15.
