Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are in Paris for Normandy format talks that have already started, NovoRossia today reports.
The heads of "Normandy Four" states met to discuss possible ways of stopping the war in the Donbas. The meeting will be held behind closed doors.
Just before the summit, Putin and Hollande, Putin and Merkel, Hollande and Poroshenko had number of bilateral meetings.
The sides are set to discuss strengthening the cease-fire regime in the Donbas as well as holding local elections in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
