The referendum for Constitutional reforms in Armenia will take place in 55-65 days. This was declared by the head of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan in an interview with NEWS.am, noting that in accordance with the law the day of referendum is appointed by the President within 21 days after receiving the approval of the National Assembly.
According to Mukuchyan, Armenian President may also return the draft to the National Assembly, with a request to make amendments and hold a new discussion. This means that the draft of constitutional reforms can be put on a referendum no earlier than November 30 and no later than December 30.
