More Sanctions against Russia Is not on the Agenda of EU
At the moment the EU is not discussing the possibility of imposing more sanctions against Russia over the situations in Ukraine or Syria, TASS reports, referring to a European diplomatic source.
"The question of more sanctions is not on the agenda. The situation in Ukraine shows signs of progress and Russia’s actions in Syria require further analysis," the diplomat said.
The source also added that earlier it was decided that the prolongation of economic sectoral sanctions against Russia would be discussed at the end of January 2016, when the current set of restrictions expires.
