Former Minister of Education of Georgia Khatia Dekanoidze has been appointed as a head of the National Police of Ukraine. The corresponding decree was adopted at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday evening, -Interfax reports.
At the age of 24, Dekanoidze started to work in a team of Georgian Ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili's administration and led the Security Council of Georgia. Later, she managed to work as a Minister of Education, as well as led the Police Academy.
In Ukraine, until the appointment, Khatia Dekanoidze was the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.
