Islamic State Uses Lebanon Stores to Smuggle Syrian Cultural Artifacts

Islamic State (Daesh) militant group uses stores in Lebanon in order to smuggle cultural artifacts, gold, explosives and drugs from Syria, Sputnik News reports, referring to Lebanese An Nahar daily.

The newspaper reported that a butcher from the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, who has connections with the butchers from the territories occupied by Daesh in the Syrian provinces of Homs and Hama, have received not only meat, but also narcotic pills, ancient artifacts and explosives from territories controlled by the extremist group.
