Greek police have started removing people from the country’s border with Macedonia after the decision to tighten border controls by the Balkan state left thousands stranded, BBC reports.
According to the source, mostly Afghan migrants and refugees were being put on buses. Journalists were not allowed to approach the area.
Greece has become Europe’s main entry point for the vast numbers fleeing war and destitution in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
